Slag sand is the boiler slag and ash aggregate for use as a substrate construction for leveling the terrain and grading.
In construction it is used for:
- replacement of land,
- construction of embankments above and below the freezing zone
- and above the groundwater level.
The material is used as a substitute of natural sand.
