GEO-SZYB mixture may be used in underground workings in non-methane and methane mines with “a”, “b” or “c” methane explosion safety levels and “A” and “B” coal dust explosion hazard class.
GEO-SZYB mixture is suitable for filling of stopes or gaps found on the surface as a result of underground extraction.
GEO-SZYB binding and filling mixture of class 1.0, 4.5 and 7.5 is a mixture of hydraulic binder and aggregate of continuous granulation made of non-burnt colliery shale.
Depending on their composition (binder contents), three classes of GEOSZYB mixture are distinguished:

• GEO-SZYB of class 1.0 – a mixture of 0/31,5 mm coal shale and binder with its compressive strength of at least 1 MPa following 28 days of curing

• GEOSZYB of class 4.5 - a mixture of 0/31,5 mm coal shale and binder with its compressive strength of at least 4.5 MPa following 28 days of curing

• GEOSZYB of class 7.5 - a mixture of 0/31,5 mm coal shale and binder with its compressive strength of at least 7.5 MPa following 28 days of curing;

Differentiation of GEOSZYB mixture with respect to classes makes it possible to select its parameters for designing purposes, which ensures a structure safety and allows for optimisation of an undertaking economics.

GEO-SZYB mixture is manufactured in a mobile machine in places, where needed. Binder added has a hydraulic nature and is non-toxic and non-flammable.
